My name is Jason Rozynski, a 3rd generation Dairy farmer with my wife Lisa and with our children Payton and Angus (4th generation). We milk 600 Brown Swiss cows in Imbil, Mary Valley Queensland. With a strong focus on pedigree meeting perfection, it’s safe to say that from the grass to the glass Brown Swiss milk is the best option.
Dairying has run deep in our blood with my Great Grandparents both being from dairy farming families. My grandparents supplied Kenilworth Kraft Foods in 1963 when bulk milk deliveries were first introduced to Queensland.
My Grandparents purchased our Home Farm where we live today in 1946, as a dairy farm and has continued to run to this day.
80 years of strong genetics and history, with many more to come. Throughout the years the dairy transitioned from my grandparents Harold and Jess (1st generation) to my dad Gary (2nd Generation) to my wife Lisa and I (3rd Generation) and our kids Payton (17) and Angus (15) being the 4th generation. Every generation has grown the farm in size, herd numbers and continues the Rozynski progression.
To say dairying is in our blood is a massive understatement.
On the 20th of June, this year our family celebrated 80 continuous years of dairy farming an achievement we are very proud of.
We have and continue to import Brown Swiss embryos from America, Switzerland, Germany, and France as well as breeding our own to have nothing but the best for our herd.
Close ratios of fat and protein of Brown Swiss milk gives that fresh, unique taste that is sought after and used by many artisans and is the perfect addition to your morning coffee or milo.
Our herd is 99% purebred Brown Swiss, currently milking 600 head across our two dairies, with the remaining 600 being young replacement stock and dry cows. Our family has fallen in love with the beauty of the Brown Swiss, and we hope that you will too.
Our farm is an irrigation farm, and our cow feeding is based around Ryegrass April to October and Kikuyu grass the rest of the year plus grain in the dairy, with our autumn feeding being farm-grown corn or sorghum silage. Nothing but the best for our girls.
